The tangible part of our soul
There are many avenues and ideas about how to take care of our body. Eating the right diet and exercise are very important in restoring the soul. But restoration is not just about taking care of our bodies. It is about expressing with our bodies as well. Hugs, physical affection, dance, skiing, surfing are all physical expressions of our soul.
Sleep/RestDoctors and scientist have been telling us that getting the right amount of sleep is important to good health. But it is also beneficial in the caretaking of our soul.
Sleep is also that thin place between the physical and the spiritual. The bible records many dreams where God gave the sleeper a message or vision. Rest is also a part of the creationstory. Even God rested on the 7th day. Rest is vital to restoring your body and your soul. |

MovingWe all have an understanding of how important physical exercise is to the body. And we all have an avenue that we prefer. But restoring the physical part of our soul is not just about exercise.
We all have a physical expression of our soul. Some like to dance, sing, hike, whatever it is that feeds your soul. Find your unique expression and learn to feed your soul. |
